Hard Drive Blank

To remove a hard drive blank:

1. Press the release button .

2. Pull the blank out of the drive bay .

CAUTION: Always populate hard drive bays with either a hard drive or hard drive blank.

Operating the server without installing a hard drive or hard drive blank results in improper

airflow and improper cooling that can lead to thermal damage.

To replace the hard drive blank, slide the blank into the bay until it locks into place.
