netstat

-v

Displays detailed output when speciﬁed with the

-r

ﬂag. In this case, route

metric values are displayed.

-z

Sets the network interface counters to zero. This ﬂag must be speciﬁed with the

-I

interface ﬂag. You must have system privileges to use the

-z

ﬂag.

Examples

The following examples show how to use the

netstat

command to display

information about conﬁgured interfaces and routing tables.
